Smoothie
I like to make smoothies because it is something I do well, they are good for you, and everyone likes smoothies. Smoothies are delicious and nutritious, and they fill you up. They are like drinking a dessert.
To make smoothies, you need a blender. I cut a green or red apple into chunks, then add a frozen banana, frozen mango, frozen strawberries, frozen blackberries, frozen blueberries, and frozen raspberries. If you have other fruit you can add it too, or even a carrot. I add a cup of green tea and a cup of yogurt, then blend it until smooth. It is very thick, cold and delicious! Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 apple, quartered
1 frozen banana
½ c. frozen mango chunks
1 c. frozen sliced strawberries
½ c. frozen berry blend (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries or whatever you like)
1 c. green tea, cooled
1 c. container of yogurt
a squeeze of honey if you like it sweeter
